Best Answer: Unfortunately, I don't believe a free TI-8x emulator for Mac exists (that I'm aware of), and TI-SmartView seems to be the only one available at the moment. As for a torrent. Are you sure you can't find it? All I had to do was type in 'ti smartview torrent' into google, and one from TPB came up, which seems like what you're looking for. Scrolling down, many mirror sites also provide the torrent. Disclaimer: Using torrents or any other means to use copyright-protected software is illegal. Tell us some more.

Have you ever wanted to have a TI-84 Calculator, but didn’t want to pay the $120 or so dollars? You can emulate it for free! Even if you already have a physical TI-84, why not have an emulated version for use on your computer. I mean, let’s face it, the calculators built into Windows/Mac, are garbage. Well, they’re useful for simple things, but why not have an ever more kick-butt calculator so it’s that much easier to take over the world pay the thing that you have to pay yes.
Seriously, if you don’t have this yet, you need it. 1) Download TI-84 OS from the TI website: 2) Install Wabbitemu: Set up the emulator: 1) Select “Create a ROM image using open source software” 2) Choose “TI-84 Plus SE” 3) Browse to the.8xu file you downloaded from the TI website 4) Save the ROM image in a location you will remember. This is what you need to boot the emulator. 5) The emulator should open 6) Go to “View” - “Enable Skin” 7) Press the “on” button on the bottom left, and you have yourself a TI-84 Plus! 8) Brag to all your friends, (and tell them where you learned how to do it ? ).
